Do you know what is SNIOP?
First time i know about this acronyms since i went to Maybank Scholarship Teambuilding Session at Maybank Training Centre, Bangi. I Don't remember the man who gave me the meaning of this acronyms but i'm really appreciate with him. Before i went to this session i'm always thought in negative side. Not in positive side... If you want to be a winner, a leader, and a good person you must always to think positive than thinking negative. So, i want to share with all readers with this Acronyms..
SNIOP - Subject to the Negative Influece of Other People. But some people pronounce it as Susceptible to the Negative Influence of Other People... This differences is not so important but the concept and the meaning is really important to us to understand. We all are affected by negative thinking of other people. One pessimist can knock the wind out of the sails of a committee of positive people. Here are some of my favorite SNIOP negative thoughts:
“Let’s refer that idea to the long-range planning committee.”
“There’s the right way, and then there’s your way.”
“That’s not the way we do things around here.”
“The last guy that tried that lasted a month.”
“We never did it that way before.”
“You must be out of your mind.”
“There’s not enough time.”
“Your plan is too costly.”
“Let’s pray about it.”
“Are you kidding?”
“What’s the use?”
“What’s Plan B?”
How many times have they knocked the wind out of your sails? Let their negative influence end today. TODAY! Determine in your mind and heart that you will not be SNIOP’d again! Tell yourself, “These locked doors are mental, and they will not be locked any longer. With god (Allah S.W.T) help, and with the support of the significant people in my life, I will succeed!”
Visualize your goal. Write it down. Begin today!
Actually, This statement i get from the famous USA Motivator, Zig Ziglar in "See You At Top". Zig Ziglar’s success as a salesman may have begun with P.C. Merrell’s prodding, but home was where he learned the importance of integrity and love. “I’ve had the home-court advantage all of my life,” he says. Ziglar remembers his mother as the wisest woman he’s known, though her formal education ended in fi fth grade. When his father died in 1932, Ziglar’s mother was left with eight of their 12 children still at home—six of them too young to work. Her strong faith and character weren’t lost on her children. “She always encouraged us to do the right thing in the right way, and to always be studying and learning new things,” he says.
Of the mantras Ziglar lives, the most significant is putting God first, his family second and his career third. Maybe it’s because he understands the value of relationships at home, or because his mother taught him about faith by her own unwavering example. In fact, it’s likely that the combination of these elements plays a role in Ziglar’s commitment. And because he has achieved balanced success by remaining loyal to his faith and his family, he encourages others to adopt the same philosophy and experience their own home-court advantage.
Others Famous Quote from Zig Ziglar:
1. I believe that being successful means having a balance of success stories across the many areas of your life. You can't truly be considered successful in your business life if your home life is in shambles.
2. If you wait until all the lights are "green" before you leave home, you'll never get started on your trip to the top.
3. When you set goals, something inside of you starts saying, "Let's go, let's go," and ceilings start to move up.
4. Money isn't the most important thing in life, but it's reasonably close to oxygen on the "gotta have it" scale.
5 Statistics suggest that when customers complain, business owners and managers ought to get excited about it. The complaining customer represents a huge opportunity for more business.
6. You can have everything in life that you want if you will just help enough other people get what they want.
7. Many companies have long contended that stress in the home causes productivity loss in the market place.. and it does. But research now reveals that stress on the job causes stress at home. In other words, they feed off each other.
8. The greatest good we can do for others is not just to share our riches with them, but to reveal theirs.
9. It is your attitude, not your aptitude, that determines your altitude.
10. People often say that motivation doesn't last. Well, neither does bathing.. that's why we recommend it daily.
Morris Goodman (The Miracle Man)
Morris Goodman is one of the person in the world that always use SNIOP for his personal life quote. He is the one of the leading life insurance salesmen in the world, a member of The Million Dollar Round Table and Top Of The Table, Morris had success, fame, fortune, and a brand new airplane.
And then things turned upside down. While attempting to land his airplane one afternoon Morris crashed. With his neck broken at C1 and C2, his spinal cord crushed, and every major muscle in his body destroyed Morris was no longer able to perform any bodily function except to blink his eyes. His injuries were too severe for him to survive.`His injuries were horrific. Morris’ neck was broken in two places, his diaphragm was destroyed, and he couldn’t breathe. His swallowing reflex was destroyed, and he couldn’t eat or drink. He couldn’t talk; as his voice box was crushed and his kidney, bladder, bowel and liver didn’t function. He had destroyed pretty much everything in my body, all he could do was blink his eyes, once for yes and twice for no.
But Morris Goodman had his brain and Morris knew that Man becomes what he thinks about So Morris Goodman’s fight began, he had to regain control of his body one small step at a time. His first goal was to get off the ventilator. He recalls,
I tried to suck a little air with the respirator. Every time I did my lungs hurt something terrible. I took 100 breaths. I’d rest five minutes. I’d take a 100 more every time. Then I started taking 200 breaths. Then I started taking 300. One night I did that and my lungs expanded three times on their own.
Finally the medical personnel cut down his dependency on the ventilator and eventually weaned him from the machine. They were at a loss for an explanation. Morris has now managed to use his stomach muscles to replace his diaphragm, the only known case in the world that’s ever consciously done that and to this day his diaphragm hasn’t worked
Morris made it is goal to work out of the hospital that Christmas, and even though his doctors said that he would never walk or ever operate any bodily function successfully again, Morris continued to visualize. Unbelievably that Christmas, just eight months later, Morris Goodman walked out of the hospital. But the man the doctors dubbed "The Miracle Man" did survive and with a strong faith in God, courage and determination, Morris not only rebuilt his body but also his mind and outlook on life.
The fight wasn’t over for Morris, it took him two years to learn to say a sentence, and five years to get back on my feet again. His recovery is so remarkable. It’s understandable why they call him “The Miracle Man.” He become famous among All American and whole the world. He also become a motivator and always motivate with other people.
